Multiple Attendee Costs

I would like to set it up so that each attendee can choose a different price. We have a class that has different prices for Adults and Kids. However the drop-down gives you the price option to apply to both (all) attendees. I would like to apply a different price to each attendee. Does that make sense? Thanks, Justin

Hi Fred,

Can I clarify?

Do you want to give each attendee the option to choose a specific type of ticket? Or do you want them to be able to choose a different price for the same type of ticket?

With the Multiple Event Registration addon (https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-multiple/) you can allow registrants to choose their ticket (from the various ticket types) and the quantity.

Does that help? Otherwise we’d be happy to give you more information if you can clarify for us.

It would be a different price for the same ticket.

The way it is now, there is a drop-down to choose between the two price options I added in the event, (adult and kid). So when the person registers for the class, even though they may be registering for an adult and a kid, they can only choose one price for the two.

I need them to be able to register each individual with their own price. Attendee#1 $30, Attendee#2 $20, for instance. And add them both to cart and keep browsing. I have the multiple event reg plugin going and I love it. What would be nice is if both prices could be displayed and added to cart. Otherwise it seems they have to register one person at one price, and then go through again with the other price.

Does that help now? I’ll try again, I know this is a bit confusing.. . Thanks!!

Hi Fred,

With the Multiple Event Registration plugin (MER) it can do what you are asking. If an event has two ticket types, Adult and Child, then when that event is added to cart the person gets the option to select the number of tickets for each ticket type.

In the event editor, the setting “Allow group Registrations” must be yes and “Max Group Registrants” must be higher set as well.

Hi Fred,

With the Multiple Event Registration addon (https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-multiple/) they should be able to choose a quantity for each type of ticket. If you added a second price to the Flowering Vines – mimosa Sunday event then attendees would be able to choose a quantity between either ticket(s) (http://www.screencast.com/t/4sMVbTpPh). Does that make sense?

Sorry I’m just now getting back to this. I’ve tried again and am getting the same results. I don’t see a person being able to register for BOTH and Adult admission @35 and a Kids admission @25. If you add multiple attendees they can only submit one or the other. I have it set up on this event. Thanks for your assistance!

Hi Fred,

By going to the main event list page (http://www.rsvpaint.com/event-registration) and clicking add to cart then view cart, you will be taken to the cart. Here you can select X number of tickets for the adult ticket type and Y number of tickets for the kid ticket type, like so http://d.pr/i/lC5u

In the event you linked (http://www.rsvpaint.com/event-registration/?ee=23) the default registration page doesnt allow this multiple ticket selection.

As such some people find that using this guide helps https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-events-registration-use-add-to-cart-link-instead-of-default-registration-form/ which basically removes the registration form and adds a link to the cart.
