Multilingual support

Dear,

When I search the forum for multilingual support I found several (older 6+ months) topics where someone asked if there is multilingual support.

But it is not completely clear whether this is already supported or not.

We have a site running with the latest espresso version (3.1.29.1) and WPML, but it seems that this combination doesn’t work.

Some people on this forum refer to the qTranslate plugin, is that something that will work? (completely translate events, emails, forms for multiple languages)? Or are there other (better) solutions to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

The plugin is translatable into a single language but currently there is no formal support for multilingual sites.

We have a ticket raised to add support for qtranslate, but this may take some time to resolve due to other aspects we are concentrating on currently.

If you wanted to modify the plugin and addons you can do so (http://www.qianqin.de/qtranslate/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=294) but there are over 2400 translatable strings in the plugin which will need to be modified.

We also havent tested that fully nor had feedback from clients to advise if that process works or not, so be aware of that.
