Multi ticket options within cart/registration

Hi
My client is running a Festival where people come to Workshops, Music events and these will be the Events we install using EE but every visitor also needs to pay an Entrance Fee and there is an option for camping. Can we integrate this into the EE system?
So there needs to be options/checkboxes when purchasing tickets for the ‘event tickets’ (adult, child, family…) and then also the compulsory ‘entrance tickets’ (with options) and also ‘camping tickets’…!
Is this possible and fairly simple to implement?!
We would also need to add some standard text re: entrance tickets:
“As workshops are part of the Festival, a Festival Entrance Ticket will be required for each day attended. Tickets are valid for one day entry only.”
I hope I have explained clearly enough, sorry!?
Thanks

HI Francis,

How are you today?

There are two ways to do this:

  • Create each day and camping as separate events with whatever ticket options you want (Adult, Child, Senior, etc.). Then use the Multiple Event Registration addon (https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-multiple/) so people can purchase multiple days and multiple tickets if they want.
  • We have a questions-price-modifier tool that one of our developers built for another client, that will add more to the price of an event depending on the options they select during registration. We’ve not made it available to the public yet but I could try and get a hold of it for you to try.

Does that help?

Hi, thanks for your swift response.
Well, Option 1 would work but to try and make the user journey as easy as possible we ideally want the Entrance Ticket Option to be viewable on each Event Registration or to appear by default at the shopping cart area. The example link below shows default content for Entrance that appears automatically when a User gets to the Cart – is this possible? The price-modifier option might work but I cannot visualise how this operates or whether this would be what the client would want?!

Hi Francis,

You can test out what Garth is talking about here:
http://eetesting.info/3.1.josh/event-registration/?regevent_action=register&event_id=1191

When the user view the event details, they have the option to add different things/products to a cart.

Hi Thanks for this. I would need to have a play around with how much I can configure this element but for now I am going to purchase the Business Licence and get started in detail.
Thanks for support so far.
