Hi the website is http://revolutionbikepark.co.uk/ with the calendar here http://revolutionbikepark.co.uk/book what I’m wanting to do is create a subdomain http://welsh.revolutionbikepark.co.uk/ so I can translate the site into welsh but can I embed the calendar on the subdomain site doesn’t need to be translated just want to use the exact same one… your help would be really appreciated with this.

Kind Regards,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,

The sub domain is treated as a separate site, even usually having a separate database.

You can pass data between sites using the JSON API (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/api-addon/) but it has no direct integration with the calendar so getting the calendar to use that data will require some custom development.

One option, though I have NOT tested this would be for the Welsh site to use the same database as the English one but change the wp-config to point to Welsh language. bear in mind any changes to either site would reflect on the other as they would use the same data store.

If you try that, try it on a test site first!
