I just installed Event Espresso 3.1.28.5.P with Multi-event Registration plugin 1.04 and activating this plug-in kills my home page slider in the Eventure theme. I will activate it now, so you can take a look:

Hi Michael,

Can you try updating to the latest version of Eventure? It looks like the version that you’re using is including an older version of jQuery. The current version of Event Espresso requires jQuery version 1.7.2 or higher.

I just installed this yesterday, why would the jQuery dataTables file be Version: 1.7.0?

Sorry, misunderstood the question by Eventure is using jQuery 1.8.16, still want me to update?

I just checked ThemeForest and it appears that the Eventure I’m using is the latest version: themeforest-1529155-eventure-responsive-events-wp-theme.

OK, I see that there was an Eventure 1.04 and just installed it, same problem.

Okay, thanks for checking.

Here is what’s in the page source of your site:
<script type='text/javascript' src='https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.2/jquery.min.js?ver=3.4.2'></script>

Since the Eventure theme is enqueueing a newer version, then it’s likely a plugin that’s adding the older version of jQuery into the mix.
