My website is about registering for music classes. Students pay in advance for credit or point values (i.e. $10 = 1 credit/point) at the enrolment stage. I would like to know how I could get students to register for multiple events but only credits or points are deducted on registration instead of going through the usual payment system. Is this possible? |

Hi Jack, You would require some custom development work to get that sort of system into place. Either to create the system in the first place and integrate, or integrate an existing system. If the points system is already available, we could assist in integrating it but its likely that we would have to treat it like a payment gateway and charge the relevant costs, you would need to speak to our sales team regarding that (sales@eventespresso). If the system doesn’t exist already then you again can ask sales if it is something we could deal with – create – and at what cost. |

I have a ‘User Credit’ plugin for wordpress installed on my site. I can use the shortcode to add credits to an account on registration. Some people on the forums have suggested using the membership system or discount codes but there were no clear answers if either would work. How does the membership add on work exactly? |
Hi Jack, I don’t know exactly whihc plugin you are reffering to, but I would guess that it still would need to be coded to integrate it in, it really depends on how the plugin works. The Members add on (WP User Integration add on) work in a way that it allows registered users of the site access to member only events and also it will populate a registration form for them so long as they are logged in and have filled out their details in their profile. |

Here’s the plugin for wordpress – http://codecanyon.net/item/user-credits-for-wordpress/783664. Users go through the payment gateway first then receive ‘credits’ to use on the site. So the credits are attached to the users account. I am hoping that with your WP User Integration add on that ‘credit’ balance/data will also populate on the registration form. Somehow, a member’s credit balance will be deducted on each event registration instead of going through the normal payment gateway. How do I bypass payment on registration the second time? |

Can I manipulate ‘Questions’ (admin only) to record a deduction or single payment? |
Hi, Again it looks like you will need some customisation work to get that plugin to work, there is nothing built in that can accommodate it in my opinion. Regarding the admin only questions, yes you can modify the data but it will be a manual process. |
Ok, thanks. I will have to go through sales for the next step for the customisation work. Re admin only questions, the questions to be asked are ‘Does this student have enough credit?” Yes or No and “Is this a make up lesson?” Yes or No. Where about will admin have the ability to modify this data? e.g. Attendees list or before confirmation of registration? |
The questions can be modified in the individual attendee records. That is found by going to your Event Overview page, hovering your mouse over the event name and then selecting Attendees from the list that appears. Selecting an individual Attendee will take you to their page where those admin questions are. |
