Hi, I’m evaluating Event Espresso for a cycling education workshop that runs throughout the year with multiple instructors, locations, and event times. The typical setup is Session 1, 2, & 3. Each session builds on each other and is dependent on the previous, however, the students can take the sessions at later times.
Preferably we’d like them to take it all together in one weekend, with Session 1 on a Friday night and Sessions 2 & 3 on Saturday.
I’ve been playing around with the Event Espresso demo, but I do not see #1 options for the same event to have multiple dates, only multiple times. And #2, I don’t see how to make a requirement or prerequisite of a previous class.
Is all this too much to ask at this point from Event Espresso?

Hello Eliot,
1) Depends on the exact set up. By simply having the start date as Friday and the end date as Sunday your event will cover those three days. However if you are selling them as individual days, which it sounds like you are, then you would be best to have them as individual events. Using the Multiple Event Registration add on would make it easy for people to add multiple events to a cart system.
2) As it stands we don’t have a prerequisite system in place. We are discussing a situation for having parent-child relations between events, but not quite prerequisites, especially something that would possibly go over a period of weeks, months, depending on the client. I think it could be done, and I’ll add it to our feature request list, but it would need some customisation work doing.
