Hello, I have been developing a site on an external development server and am moving to the live domain. Why can’t I simply enter my key into the live site and remove it from the development version? I was taken to a page that is requesting $10 for a reset request. Is that my only option? If so, that’s not very awesome for developers. Please help. |
Hi there, I’ve reset the key for you. In the case of moving from dev to live, we don’t charge the $10. |

Thanks so much!! For future reference, is there a better way to get in touch for a reset when launching (outside of posting in the forums)? Just want to make sure I have the best workflow in mind on any future projects. |
You’re welcome. We get a notification when someone requests a key reset, so while it’s not necessary to post to the forums, we really don’t mind if you post a new thread here. This way we have a quick way to reply to let you know it’s been reset. |

Hi Josh, I’m getting the following message today. Am I able to be reactivated for auto-updates? Can I dismiss this message? “You have the correct Site License Key for Espresso Permissions Basic but your current membership access only allows for automatic upgrades on one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.” |
Hi there, |

Yeah, I removed the old key from the dev site (thought I was supposed to remove it, actually). Sorry if there was a disconnect. |
|
So, it looks to be inactive (in my account status). If you can help that would be really great. Thanks. |
Hi there, When I view the account page, the key is showing that it’s active. Where do you see it displaying as inactive? |
