is there a way to move the Return to Event Cart button in EE4 at the bottom of the Registration Page to the top of the page? i think it creates a better customer experience if they can jump back

May I ask which specific location you want to add the button? May include a screenshot that shows it:

The Return to Event Cart’ button is tied to a hook, so you can remove the callback function for that hook and add it to something else if preferred, but what you add it to depends on the exact location you are looking for.

So I did some checking and there’s no hook you can use to output the button in that specific location, well there actually is, but it’s a filter so doing so isn’t really the recommended.

Will output the button in that location and remove the default button at the bottom, however, again note that it’s not using a recommended method for doing this, we’ll need to add an additional action hook to allow users to output content to that section correctly.
I’ve created a ticket to investigate if we can add that hook into core.
