WP 3.6.1, EE 3.1.35.1.P (Business License) with add-ons MER 1.04, Calendar 2.0.6.2, Members Addon 1.9.7.2 and Social Media 1.0; existing installation

Is it possible to move attendees from one event to another? My client’s staff inadvertently started ‘re-using’ an existing event from 2013 for an event in 2014, instead of following their normal procedure of copying the older event, and using the new instance. We presently have 5 registrations for the event, but anticipate several more in the last 5-7 days.

If we just delete and re-register the attendees for this year’s event, we’re concerned we’ll lose credit card information – is that a valid worry? Is there another approach that would make more sense (take less work)?
