Hello EE staff,
I’m just curious and this is purely for myself but do you have an idea of the highest number of tickets sold by an EE customer for an event and per year? and the highest grossing?
This is purely curiosity. I’ve just always wondered and never asked but logging into the front of the site reminded me. It says $100,000,000 per year across 40,000+ sites which is about $2,500. Where is the mean and what is the max?

It’s my understanding that we have a system* in place that samples anonymous data from sites using EE3 & EE4 (only on sites that have opted-in). We also own Event Smart (a hosted event ticketing solution, powered by EE4), which allows us to track even more specific data about events created using our plugin. Primarily using these data sets, we are able to provide a fairly accurate estimate of active event websites and ticket sales.
