Before I can subscribe to the plugin, I would like to know if I would be able to achieve the following… The class passes is straight forward – only a price. Then there are some ‘events’ that is a once off, with a certain amount of people that can go in the class, with two price options (full price and concessions) which is unknown how many of each will be purchased. If for example 6 people can book for a specific class, but the amount of people that are going to book full price or concession is unknown. If the person book by full price or concession for the same event it needs to reduce the amount of people. In the email (have noticed you do customized emails, which is awesome…) it will say to bring proof that the person was liable to pay less. Then, an event have different dates. I want to avoid the situation of having a page filled with the same event (name) and each separated by its own date. Will it be possible to add a event with numerous dates. And each date can take a certain amount of people that might book full price or concession? I was trying to do a test product checkout, but can not see the price or checkout button on the page. Thank you in advance. |
Hi Elzette, You can setup two different prices for an event and then set a global limit for the number of people who can register. No matte what type of ticket someone purchases, the number of seats available will be reduced. That should work for you. With regard to the date, I think you want to use the Custom Files addon (https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-custom-files/) which has templates to display the dates in a drop-down menu. |

Just to double check, with this Custom Files addon I can have different dates for a specific course and set a global limit for the number of people for each date? Number of bookings go off separately for each date? |
Hi Elzette, There are a couple options you could use to display groups of dates that recurring if you’re using the recurring events manager. One option is the recurring events templates, and I’ve posted the most recently updated versions on my github page: https://gist.github.com/3933889 You can download those two files and upload them to /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates to test them out. These will override the standard event list templates when they are in that location. I checked out the PayPal button, and what it’s doing is looking for the PayPal button image from the free version. If you go into the Event Espresso>Payment settings, you’ll notice that there’s an option to customize the PayPal button. It looks like replacing the image URL with the following and saving the settings will bring the PayPal button image back: |
