This is how the question from the business office was posed to me:
“Are there any better coupon options or add ons than the one we currently use? It applies the coupon to every item in the cart- so if I have a “Trainer” code for multiple students, and they register an operator also, it ends up discounting the operator also (to free actually because it’s a larger discount than the operator fee). Any plug ins that can apply the coupon code to certain price options only? Or just to the cart total?”
Any advice here would be a help.
Basically, they have different price levels for events
A $x
B $z
C $y
and would like to be able to apply specific coupon codes to each option.
Would the ticketing add on help with this?
I have looked at the Espresso Price Modifier but am not sure if that would exactly do the trick either.

Hi Tim,
The ticketing add-on wouldn’t help with this because the ticketing add-on doesn’t affect the price of the ticket. It’s mostly used to send PDF tickets that can be scanned at the door with one of our mobiles apps.
The workaround I can think of is to assign a unique promo code for each event, and build out a price level for each event if they need to apply different discount codes for each of the different price level.
