Hello

We are using your plugin on our WordPress website. We received a notification from Mollie that support for Mollie API V1 has ended as of July, and we need to switch to Mollie API V2 as soon as possible. Do we need to take any action, or will this be handled by you through a plugin update?

Kind regards
Samir

Hi there,

My apologies for the confusion here.

The version Rio linked you to was a test version I released to a couple of users who offered to test our the Mollie V2 API changes (that’s why it includes ‘TEST’ in the name).

That version worked fine and has since been released as version 1.1.7.p of the Mollie payment method.

As you have 1.1.6 installed on the site currently and an active license, does it not show an update as available for that add-on on your site?

If not go to Event Espresso -> General Settings, make no changes and just hit save.

Does it show the update for the Mollie payment method in Dashboard -> Plugins then?

Does this now mean that I can ignore the version that Rio send it to me and continue running an update in the live environment so that API V2 is implemented?

Yes, that is correct.

1.1.7.p includes the changes to use V2 of the Mollie API, you can ignore the version Rio sent you.

If you want to test the latest update on your staging environment first just download 1.1.7.p from your account page and follow the steps above to replace the current installed version there.
