Hey Guys, Im trying to implement the code to modify the registration ID as per the snippet featured in the wiki https://eventespresso.com/wiki/useful-php-code-snippets/
the FHEE__EE_Registration_Processor___generate_reg_code__new_reg_code hook doesnt seem to do anything.
I can get the 1st (basic one) example to work by hooking it into the FHEE__Create__regCode__new_reg_code however the second example which makes a call for the event ID doesn’t work. I need to return the event ID in order to pull the count and another custom field from the event so that the Reg_ID would look something like this companyid(customfield) – count(customfield) – transaction
Can you help me out please guys.

The filter has been deprecated. What I can suggest is you open a pull request on github and let the developers know you need a replacement for that filter in the new method that generates the new reg code.
