Modifications to EED_Ticket_Selector.module.php

Is it possible to modify this file EED_Ticket_Selector.module.php so that future updates don’t overwrite any hard modifications to it?

Not to my knowledge. Can you achieve your modifications with filters/hooks? That’s usually a safer route.
