Hi again,

I’ve some problem using the app on my iphone 4s.

As soon as I log-in using the app, I receive an error “Param ‘Datetime.event_start’ with value ‘2013-06-11 12:00 AM’ is not allowed type ‘datetime’

While on iphone5 and an android mobile it works without problem.

iPhone 4s iOS 6.1.3 and it’s up to date

Event espresso mobile app just downloaded from the market (normal one and the HD one)

Wordpress 3.5.1 and Event Espresso up to date.

Thanks!

I’ve the same error also on your testdrive today.. While when I’ve tried the app two days ago on your testdrive, it was working even on my iphone 4s.

I’ve already deleted and re-installed both app version and rebooted the device.

Thanks.

Hi Giovanni,

Which version of the app were you testing when the error message appeared? The older ticketing app or the HD app?

Hi Josh

as I’ve wrote in first post, I’ve tried both of them.

I’ve tried also the wordpress official app.. to see if it is an my iphone issue.. but it works without problems..

Thanks.

Which of the two apps is displaying the error, or is it both? Are you seeing any errors on the iPhone 5?

With both apps I receive the same error, while with the iphone5 and the android one, everything works.

🙁

[ update 2 ]

… just tried with another iPhone 4s.. and it works..

But on all the devices where the app works (android, iphone 5 and my GF iPhone 4s), as soon as I scan a ticket, it display this message : Registration error – not authorized to access that endpoint

Do you know what can be on my iPhone? I know maybe this is not your issue.. but, maybe… 🙂

Regarding the error ? what can be ?

Thanks.

Not trying to hijack this thread but I am also getting the event start_param errors on all devices.

Is there a beta version that may work for me?  I went into the General Settings and changed the time and date format to what was recommended in another post but I’m still getting the event start_param errors…..

Thanks!

Hi Giovanni,

When you log in with one of the apps is it with an admin user account?

Hi Josh,

yes, I always use an admin user account. I tried to use different users, all of the flagged as admin, but I’ve the same problem with all of them. Also I’ve tried log-in with the same admin user which I’ve used to create the event…

The problem is that even if I receive the error above, if I “click” on the details button on the top right corner, I can see all the infos but I cannot update the student status (joined to the event… )

Thanks,

G.

Hi Giovanni,

I’m not able to reproduce this when I scan tickets on my test setup. There may be another plugin or a function in the WordPress theme that’s causing a conflict. Can you try temporarily deactivating any non-EE plugins and try the default theme? This may help to narrow down the issue.

Hi Josh,

I’ve already did it… Nothing change.

At this point, I guess it’s a my iPhone issue for the 1st error (Param ‘Datetime.event_start) while for the second, I really don’t know..
The theme I’m actually using it’s a totally bootstrap framework.

Thanks,

Josh

Can you let me know which plugins are installed on this site, and if possible post a link to the page that lists the events so I can investigate?
