We are planning to have around 3 thousand registrations. Is the mobile app going to work with this amount of registrations? Is it possible to download attendees to app so that it does not have to pull each one from the server?

Hi,

The apps can work that amount of registrations. The important thing will be the server will need enough resources to handle the concurrent requests from the apps. It’s not possible to download attendees to app so that it does not have to pull each one from the server.

(after registration ends), installing website on local computer and use barcode scanner to pull from local machine?

Yeah that works. There are a few recommended tools for cloning that site/migrating the data. The WP Migrate DB plugins work well for getting the data over to the MAMP server.
