Missing Attendees (7)

Hi there,

Recently, although someone is paid, we still don’t see the attendee on Event Espresso. I’ve seen a message that says please update because some attendee data may be missing on the admin panel but once I clicked it, nothing happened and the message went away.

Can you please advise?

Hi Samantha,

The attendee you are referring to, did they possibly register onto multiple events, or even onto the same event with multiple registrations?

Have you seen the message you mention multiple times previously or just the once?

This happens when a customer signs up for the same event for multiple people in separate transactions (we set it this way because we take groupons)

Hi Samantha,

Please ensure that you are running a current version of Event Espresso:

For the missing attendees, if a member starts a registration and gets to the payment page and backtracks (clicks back a couple times), then this will wipe the existing registration. There are warnings to prevent this but it is possible to click okay and move backwards back to the event registration page.

Does this sound like something that may have happened?
