Hi, I am dealing with a very strange problem. Some of the attendees disappeared from the database even if the e-mail confirmation of the new attendees came into my e-mail box. So, although I got an information of a new attendee to my mail, he is not inside the event espresso database. So if I use live searching I CANNOT find those attendees.

Hi Jan,

Usually this happens when the user does not close/finalize the registration.

On your site what happens is the user registers onto the event, is taken to the Payment page and they must select a payment gateway (In your case ‘Payment on the spot’) the user selects this payment options and must then click the ‘to complete your registration link’ to finalize/close their ‘session’.

If they do not click this link the session remains open, so if they then register onto another event (or the even the same event) EE uses the Session information to write their details to the database. So if the session remains the same for multiple registrations, the previous registration is overwritten by the new one.

Some users use CSS to make the link more obvious but in either case, the user MUST click that link in-between multiple registrations.
