Hi, We purchased the EE4 Everything License Package, but w do not have access to the plugins. We have 19, but we should see 35. We want the Waitlist and Importer and purchased on the basis that we would get access to the 35 Plugins. I tried to purchase as it states free with the plan, but it want to change me. This is what I can download. Event Espresso 4 Core Regular v5.0.29.p |

Hi there, Looks like your account didn’t update correctly to include all the add-ons so I’ve manually updated it for you and you should now have access. If you run into any further issues just let me know. |

Hi, I got these but I cannot import events as per the documentation in your support https://support.eventespresso.com/article/490-how-to-import-events. Can you advise as this was one of the reasons I move to your products as I have over 100 events planned for 2025 that I need to import. |

Hi there, Thats EE3 documentation from our legacy product, EE4+ doesn’t currently have an ‘import’ function.
100 unique events or are those a part of a recurring series? I’m asking as you many be able to use the recurring events manage to work through these, if the event is basically X event(s) repeating with a pattern the recurring events manage add-on can handle those. https://eventespresso.com/product/eea-recurring-events-manager/ |
|
No, each event is unique and there is no pattern that we can use. This is really something that should be available as a standard feature. |
|
Then yeah you would need to create each event separately, if they follow a similar Datetime/Ticket structure you could duplicate an event to help somewhat although that would still need a lof of the data replacing.
Without this coming across the wrong way, everyone’s ‘Standard features’ are different. I’ve seen people say exactly the same thing about features that I’ve seen less than 5 people ask for in the time I’ve supported Event Espresso (I’ve been here over 11+ years now), I/We understand specific features are hard requirements for some people but unfortunately that doesn’t mean they are standard. So having said that, I do agree that having an event import tool for Event Espresso would be useful for some but we have features with much higher numbers of requests so we have to prioritize our feature developments based on (although not solely) those requests. I’d love to say we can support all the features everyone wants but it simply isn’t possible. To give some context, this has been requested 18 times in the above timeframe. |

Hi Tony, Absolutely understand, but it was a feature in EE3, so one that was removed. However the link https://support.eventespresso.com/article/490-how-to-import-events does not say it is for EE3 only and I my purchased was partially based on using the import feature to move from our current system to the EE and import from our course centres on an ongoing basis. Also the Import Plugin causses a fatal crash when you try to use the student import feature. This is one that has been reported in the community. Given this missing feature, I would like to get a refund and cancel the licence and subscription. |
