Hi there,

Can you add more details on what happens?

For example, does the user get directed to Mijireh and make a payment but then it doesn’t show in EE?

Do they see an error message?

Is there an event I can run a test registration on?

Hi There,
Thank you for your reply…

When we click on mijireh website, it says site cannot be reached…This is the page we go to for the payments received.
https://secure.mijireh.com/login

You can also test the payment system via the event we have below:
https://www.movingbodies.com.au/friday-night-fun-booking/

All bookings for any event we have, are all coming in ‘abandoned’ as they can not get to the payment section – lots of frustrated people calling us…
Many thanks
Bec

Mijireh looks to have completely disappeared and that is causing a huge issue for my clients.

They use Event Espresso and they use Worldpay and the gap in between in the form of Mijireh has disappeared off the face of the earth with zero warning!

Can anyone help?!

Yeah, Mijireh/Cloudswipe appears to be down and looking around there’s no way to contact them directly.

My advice is to set up and use another payment method (we recommend Stripe), even if only temporary until more is known about what is happening.

Payflow Pro (which accepts payments via WorldPay) is available to use in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand https://eventespresso.com/product/eea-payflow-pro-gateway/

I’m not aware of any other Event Espresso 4 compatible WorldPay payment methods.

I e-mailed support and got this back:

CloudSwipe and Mijireh are shutting down on September 15, 2019.

We’ve been emailing all of our customers about Mijireh (and CloudSwipe) shutting down since January 2019. We have already stopped our billing system as of several months ago. So your account will not renew and you will not be charged again. You don’t even have to worry about officially canceling your account because all your data will be deleted when the systems go offline.

All you need to do is make sure you have switched to using some other way to process payments on your website before Sept 15, 2019. For example, if you are using WooCommerce for your store, you can use the free Stripe integration for WooCommerce.

Thank you!

Which is annoying as I did not get any e-mail from them at all!

AAAAARGH!

Thank you for posting the above, David.

This is also news to me and I just checked our support mailbox to confirm we hadn’t missed an email stating this (I can’t find any) as we’d have at least put up a sticky or likely pushed some details out in our newsletter to make sure people were aware of this.

Whilst not ideal if your clients have a PayPal account they can switch to use PayPal Express (it’s included in EE4 core) so they can have at least 1 online payment method up and running.

Can you please advise when an alternative to Mijireh will be active on Event Espresso? We don’t want to use Paypal as the fees are expensive and prefer to use our preferred bank here in Australia as it saves us a lot of money in unnecessary Paypal fees. Thank you.

Hi there,

Can you please advise when an alternative to Mijireh will be active on Event Espresso?

We currently have no plans of replacing Mijireh with another service and I’m not aware of any that work in a similar way that we could replace it with.

We don’t want to use Paypal as the fees are expensive and prefer to use our preferred bank here in Australia as it saves us a lot of money in unnecessary Paypal fees.

May I ask which payment provider you are using?
