I have just migrated a site from Hostgator to WPE. The WPE site is still in development and we will be pointing DNS as soon as I get this issue fixed. When I click on http://naswwashington.staging.wpengine.com/continuing-education/upcoming-events/ and then click an event, I do not see the event, just code. Here is how it displays on the current live site (that we are moving from) and how it should display http://nasw-wa.org/event-registration/?ee=57

Thank you,
Carol

I think I have this resolved. Was a simple migration issue.

Hi Carol,

I checked your sites and this appears to be an issue with the migrated data, and it’s affecting all the content of the website, not just the events. Here’s a screenshot of what I’m seeing when I compare two events.

You’ll also see the same  ‘s on regular WP pages like this one:

http://naswwashington.staging.wpengine.com/licensure/licensure-law/

In the process of migrating the data was the data changed in a text editor? If so, I’d recommend trying a plugin like WP Migrate DB instead to safely migrate the data.

Some more links that might help explain what’s going on here:
