Need some help here. We need to send periodic messages to all registrants, but I am just not seeing a way to do so. The only thing I can see is how to send to a few at a time using the “send batch email” button, but I need to send the same email to 200+ people and can’t do it 10 at a time. Please help?
If you click on the Screen Options tab while viewing the Event Espresso > Registrations page, you’ll see a Pagination option that you can set to a higher number than 10.
Please be advised that your web server may not be able to handle processing a batch email to 200+ recipients in one go, so you may need to experiment a bit (like send 40 in 5 separate batches).
Please also be advised that generally speaking, sending hundreds of emails via a WordPress site may lead to most of those emails getting flagged as spam. There are two ways around this:
1) Use the built in “Send Batch email” while having your email to go through a transactional email service, more info here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/postmark-app-mandrill-transactional-email-handling-services/
2) Export your registration list and import it into a service like Mailchimp and send the email via Mailchimp.
Thanks Josh! I will advise the client as to their options; I’ve tried to make them aware of the spam potential. Will look into all of these options. Appreciate it!
