Messages not sending (2)

I updated EE4 a few days ago and now Registration Approved meesages are not being sent. The messages are in the queue to be sent but they are not sending. Some of the messages have no recipient attached and some do. When I click the wrench to manually send them, I get the following error message on a blank (white screen): Incoming data for the Gateways data handler must have an EE_Transaction object as the value for the first array index. EE_Messages_Gateways_incoming_data – __construct – 51

I have checked the payment and transaction status for these registrations we received the payment and the registration status is approved. I have also tested the messages and received the emails from the tests.

This is a huge problem for our business because we having to issue refunds because the clients are not getting confirmation emails.

I see that someone else has the same issues: https://eventespresso.com/topic/error-while-trying-to-generate-and-send-email/ but there hasn’t been a support update since 11/14.

Can you please help us get back to normal?

Hi there,

Can you go to Event Espresso > Messages > Message Settings and set the option for emails to be sent on the same request, then save?

Yes, I updated the settings to sent on the same request and it resolved the issue.
