I’m referring to the ticket https://eventespresso.com/topic/messages-are-not-sending-automatically-after-updating-ee/#post-353875. I closed the ticket as resolved, but unfortunately this is not the case. Two days ago I saw again that the tickets were not generated. I checked the cron jobs and saw that cron job “AHEE__EE_Messages_Scheduler__generation” dissapeared. I runned the cleanup cron and the generation cron appeared again. So I thougt this was a one time issue after the ticket. Unfortunately this monring I saw that the messages were generated, but not send. After checking the cron jobs I now saw that the cron “AHEE__EE_Messages_Scheduler__sending” was missing. So there is really something strange going on that both of the crons dissapears, which obviously causes the messages not being sending. Has this something to do with the latest update of EE or WP? Thank you for your quik attention. |

Hi there, If you check your server error logs, can you see any errors from EE relating to cron jobs? For example:
The way the crons work is the cron hook is triggered and then when it finishes running it ‘reschedules’ itself to run again (note this is a WP core function in itself, EE just adds in a repeating cron job within WP core) so if your getting any errors like the above the request couldn’t reschedule the job and we’ll need the details from that error to investigate. |
