So I am looking to do some very basic changes to the HTML message templates and I downloaded the example plugin template pack and am working from it. I haven’t changed much in the plugin yet aside from the name and which email templates it applies to. (on another note, to get a new set of message templates requires modifying far too many individual files, IMHO)
I’m testing right now in making the html changes I want and loading in the template and I am getting some very buggy behavior. If I leave the HTML in the template file exactly as-is, or only add attributes to existing tags, it works fine. If I modify anything, like deleting an empty <td> tag, then it loads, but if I switch from code view to wysiwyg in the editor, then it rearranges my code, cuts off sections, etc. Why would it be doing this?

I’m afraid I can’t answer your question with the limited information you’ve posted here. If you can post specific code examples, in context, in a pastebin or gist and link here we can investigate further.

Hi Josh,
I am not able to duplicate the behavior today. I updated the Event Espresso plugin yesterday and it seems to have stopped and is loading the templates properly.
