I’ve just created a test event and registered/payed for it, but found that both the primary registrant and the administrator received doubles of all messages sent out (Event Registration Details, Registration Notification & Event Payment Details for the registrant)
Obviously this is not ideal…Any Ideas?
I have not run into this issue either. Do you have a third party email plugin installed? Do you know if your theme or another plugin is running an action on the wp_mail function?
You can try removing the eventespresso.tmp file, but I doubt that has anything to do with this issue.

I do have a third party email plugin installed: “wp-mail-smtp”
Is there a way to still use this plugin and resolve my issue?
A new version of Event Espresso 4 was released today. Could you please update to version 4.1.10.reg?
Also, please let me know if your plugin folder still has the .tmp at the end of it.
