Hi EE Friends,
I have an event set up with two ticket options, and am using MER to send it to the cart, and getting the dreaded “It looks like you are attempting to refresh a page after completing your registration or your cart is empty. Please go to the events page and try again.”

The weird thing is that the cart works just fine if you’re logged in to the site, and it works fine in a staging area of my hosting server.

I’ve tried switching to the 2013 theme and turned off all plugins, so I was thinking it was a caching issue, because WP-Engine does some sophisticated back-end caching.

Spoke with their tech support and we cleared the cache, but are still getting the same behavior. And he’s saying its not a caching error because he’s seeing this error in Chrome’s console: “Platform auth flow is not allowed: The application has disabled this authentication flow” which I don’t see in Safari or Firefox.
Based on everything else I’m reading on this forum, it seems that its a caching issue, but I wanted a more experienced opinion than mine.
Thanks!
