Hi all,
A quick question about MER and customizations – it seems as if the add-on reads the controlling templates (multi_registration_page.php and multi_registration_page_display.php) from the standard directory (plugins/event-espresso/templates) even if there are copies of those files in uploads/espresso/templates (our customized templates directory). Is this the correct behavior, or is there a problem with our MER setup?

TIA,
Erik Domingo

Hello Erik,

I had no issues with adding content to these forms in the uploads directory and the content showing.

What exactly are you trying to modify? If my memory serves me correctly, the multi_registration templates deal mainly with the forms when there is more than one attendee for both standard and MER registration,

Hi Dean,

Thanks for the clarification. I was tweaking the string used to store the event name (to remove some extraneous code added by the users each time they create an event). I had no problem doing this, but was just trying to follow best practices for customizations by changing a copy of the source file.

I imagine I was having a problem with caching in my browser preventing the changes to the copy of the template file from displaying. I’ll try again today, but you can consider this issue closed. Thanks as always!
