I am assisting a non-profit using WordPress 3.5.1, Event Espresso 3.1.31.1 and Members Addon 1.9.7. My issue is with not seeing the widgets: “member_log_in” and “non_member_log_in” available for use. I thought (but won’t swear to it) they where provided as an option to use when I installed Event Espresso and the Members Addon for my business back in early 2012. Am I not remembering correctly? Is there a particular step I may be forgetting? Just as I did for my business, I want to use the widgets to place the registration and login buttons/links on the home page.
It was likely another plugin or possibly the theme that added the member log in widgets. Event Espresso doesn’t add either of these. It will just use the standard WP log in page.
