Member Pricing Issues

Ok,

I have an event with 3 prices. Non member price is $10, “Little” member is $5 and Big Member is $0 (free).

I was told I had to create a non member price for each member price I create (which i totally don’t undertand but ok). But, now when I am not logged in as a member, I get a dropdown with 2 prices, Non-member $10 and Non-member $0

If I am logged in, I get 2 prices, Little member $5 and Big member $0 BUT when I chose Big member and click submit, price on the next page is now $10 and if i choose Little member and click submit, price on the next page is suddenly $0.

I want to have only ONE price appear for none members and have the accurate price appear for members.
What is going on here?

Try setting up your pricing like this:
enter image description here
And make sure you have the very latest version of the wp user integration installed. Also, if the prices are not showing up correctly, check the templates in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates. If there are older versions of the templates in that directory (from a previous version of Event Espresso), prices might not display correctly.

Well, i’ve done it like in the screenshot but not both little and big show $10 on the second page, and I still get 2 non member prices dropdown when not logged in.

I have the member addon ver 1.9.3. it doesn’t show me that there is an update so I’m assuming this is the latest one.
and as for the template files, how do I know if they are not updated? I only copied them there a few days ago.
?

It depends on which version you copied them from. A quick test to see if the templates are an issue can be done by renaming the templates directory to something like /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates-old
This will force the core Event Espresso templates to load. You might also try download and re-installing a fresh copy of the members add-on. The reason I say that is on my test site when I set these up the prices that get selected get displayed on the next page.

You’ll still get a drop down for the non-member pricing, but since the options are the same price, a non-member will pay the correct amount for a ticket. The reason for having a non-member/members price for each they share the same row in the database. This is another issue that will be addressed in Event Espresso 3.2.

I have both d/l and installed again the addon as well as revised the template folder and issue still persists

Can you please post here the results? I have the same issue. I’m working around it now as I figured I would wait for 3.2 to launch, but would like to find out what the issue is in case it carries over to the new version. Thanks!

I downloaded a fresh copy of the WP user integration add-on (version 1.9.3) from the account page and installed it. The prices started displaying correctly after that.

Thanks, that fixed it.
