So I purchased the member add on and now i think I shouldn’t have. Has someone been able to successfully use this tool that could help me? I was under the impression that this would allow members to login and see what classes they have signed up for and update their profile information etc. Well I don’t like the fact that it is using the backend of WordPress, i would like to keep it with the layout of my website. Also, when and if they happen to see the button on the side that says “dashboard” they are then taken to the main page with a list of events and are also given the option to see how many people are registered, edit, etc. I don’t want them to be able to do that. I would prefer that they couldn’t see the dashboard at all if I am forced to have to go that route. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Chris!

Another quick question about this addon. Will they (members) be able to see their past events that they’ve attended?
Is there a way that we can add custom fields to their event profile information?

If you have the dashboard accessible to your users, they can see a list of events they’ve registered for on their My Events page under Your Profile. This isn’t currently accessible on the front-end.

Is there a way that we can add custom fields to their event profile information?

Sure, you can add them to their profile, but if you want Event Espresso to be able to use them, it would take a bit more advanced coding to integrate your custom profile fields.

They’ll be able to see the events they’ve attended on the “My Events” screen if they registered while logged in.

Adding custom fields to the event profile information would require custom development and isn’t supported.
