I’ve just read this
https://eventespresso.com/topic/users-and-permissions/#post-109391

It’s better to use this or just use the Member Add-on?

https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-members/

I want my customers could receive username password and invoice of the event…

Thank in advance!

Hi,

It depends on what you would like to achieve.

The espresso members Add-on allows you to specify member pricing (members are logged in users) that will replace the standard pricing for the events.

It gives your users access to the ‘My Events’ section as shown in the ‘details’ section of the link posted, this gives an overview of the events that users has attendeed and allows the user to download the invoice/pay/cancel the registration.

The code posted here:

https://eventespresso.com/topic/users-and-permissions/#post-109391

Simply creates a new user based on the First Name, Last Name and Email Address input when registering onto an event and then also adds the Address info to the user meta data. The user will receive an email from your WP install with the username and password. However that email will not contain any invoice (the will receive that separately when registering onto the event).

So, how are you expecting your registrations to work?

What would you like to achieve using one of the above?
