Hi: Can you tell me if there is a maximum number of tickets allowed? My client is getting an error message after 13. Is there a way to change this in settings? We’ve already opened server space. Does this mean we need to give them more server space? https://prnt.sc/wdpi7w Thanks!

Hi there,

There is no max number of tickets within Event Espresso but your server has a max_input_vars settings, which is the number of inputs on a page that PHP will process before it ignores the rest. Each time you add datetimes/tickets to the event editor you add more inputs, so eventually, you reach the max number of inputs your server is set to process and the above notice is shown to warn you.

You mentioned ‘server space’ above and by that I assume you mean disc space? If so that’s not the issue, you need to increase the max_input_vars setting within PHP:

https://www.php.net/manual/en/info.configuration.php#ini.max-input-vars

You would usually do that within your server php.ini file, user.ini or (as a last resort) the .htaccess file on the server.

Are you hosting the site? If so what type of hosting are you using?
