We are trying to add ticket prices to our event and we are getting an error that reads:
“The maximum number of inputs on this page has been exceeded. You cannot make edits to this page because of your server’s PHP “max_input_vars” setting.
There are 1025 inputs and the maximum amount currently allowed by your server is 1000.
Please contact your web host and ask them to raise the “max_input_vars” limit.”
We only have about 12 ticket prices currently and about half of those were Early Bird prices that just expired. We need to add additional pricing, but this error is preventing us from doing that. Are you familiar with this error and how to fix it?
max_input_vars is a limit ser on your server which tells PHP how many ‘inputs’ on a page to process, as you add more tickets/datetimes to an event you add more inputs and once you reach the limit set on your server the above notice shows to alert you that it needs to be increase.
You’ll need to raise the value set for max_input_vars on the server, the default is 1000 and I recommend you increase it to either 2000 or 3000. Some host have a section in your control panel to increase the value but if not we recommend contacting your hosting provider to have them do it for you.
