Hi there, I have added a couple registrants manually to my event. I also have it set up so that regsitrants can see their event info in a user backend using the Event Espresso shortcode. However, when those registrants login to the site (the ones I added from WordPress backend), there is no event assigned to them. I used the same email as their account, for the main registrant, but it doesn’t show.
How can I get these manual registrations to show in the user area and be assigned to their account? Is there any way to add it via database?

Hello,
Options such as the MailChimp integration, Promotions, and WP user integration run on the front-end only.
Install the user switch plugin and then switch to that user and then register them for events through the front-end. If you try to register them using your own account, then you’ll be associated with those events instead of the intended registrants/attendees.

Thank you, is there any way at all to change the primary registrant to another user after they’ve already been assigned at all? Or, if I do the steps above, is it possible to do it so that the registrant that was added manually is unaware of what happened in the back-end? Don’t want them to have to do anything over again or ge a bunch of emails.

Hello,
If you change the primary registrant information through the registration details screen (takes you to the contact editor) then that changes the contact information for any other events that they may have been registered for.
Here is an example to help clarify:
Lets say that I register for event ABC today on a website. Then tomorrow I register for event 123.
Then on Monday, the event organizer, changes my contact information for event 123. This change would also affect event ABC.
