Manually add existing WP User as an attendee from EE4 backend

We have several older folks who have called and need us to register for them. We don’t have their password so we are trying to see if there is an easier way to add them as an attendee to an event without having to add all of their personal details again.

I know if we go to the event we want to register them for and click on “Registrations” that takes us to a list and there is a button at the top that says “Add Registration” is there not a way to just add by username or email and it pull over the details automatically?

Thanks,

Hello,

Options like the WP user integration, MailChimp, and the Promotions add-on do not run on a manual registration through the WP dashboard.

You would need to send in a registration as those registrants/attendees through the front-end for them to get an account on your site.

Thank you, just wanted to make sure I wasn’t over looking something.

You can use the User Switching plugin (available to download here) to switch to the user’s account (no password needed). Then you register for the event for them on the front-end of the site.
