I’d like to implement a “Buy X get X” promotion, which the promotion plugin cannot facilitate. What are my options in terms of adding an additional registration free of charge? I’d prefer to do the work myself (as opposed to e-mailing registrants discount code for free ticket which would require them to go through the registration process again) seeing as it is not possible to have it automated, however, doing a manual registration in the admin section does not allow the ability to apply discount to the registration. Is there any other way?

Hi there,
You can add the registration within the admin as normal, then apply a payment to the transaction to discount the value of one ticket from the remaining total, the user can then use the payment links within the EE emails or Receipt to make an online payment for the remaining balance.
Would that work?
