Manual Approval EE4 and disable Order Confirmation Receipt

Hi,
I have a free event. The user is supposed to register using the usual flow. The “Thank You” screen should not give an “Approved” status. Instead, can I display a message saying “Awaiting approval”? The approval and email should be sent manually by the admin.

Do let me know if this is possible and how do I achieve this? Thanks!

Hi,

I do where some confusion could appear. First, are you using this for the event:

That should set the event to pre-approval (status of not approved until event author approves it) which will look like this:

With that mentioned, are you actually referring to this messaging that appears towards the top of the page:

Thanks. That Worked! I am assuming that the event author can then approve it and resend an “Approved” email to the registrant.

You can do this in bulk through the registrations list by selecting your attendees – http://take.ms/KOtQh

Then in the bulk actions dropdown select ‘Approved and Notify Registrations’ – http://take.ms/gCtKp

Which will then do just that – http://take.ms/6JyDV

Or you can do this per registration by editing the registration itself, clicking the Approve button (checking the ‘Send related message’ checkbox first if you prefer) – http://take.ms/Vd2Vo
