Mandatory filed complains about missing data, even if it not empty

I have a event with the three mandatory fields first name, last name and e-mail. Since I upgraded wordpress to 4.5 the registration for the event is not working. It complains about missing data in First name field, even if the fields i filled.

Can anyone help with a work around?

Hello,

If this started shortly after updating to WP 4.5, then there may be some errors from your theme.
