Is there a way to require payment at time of registration? I am using paypal for payment. I have customers that register and then don’t pay which takes a “seat” away from the class they are registering for. Can i set it up that registration is all or nothing depending on if they pay during the process? The other problem is they register and don’t pay then want to go back into Paypal and pay which doesn’t work either.

Any suggestions?

By default, unpaid registrations get a status of incomplete and do not count toward the seat limit. Make sure that the default payment status setting is set to incomplete in Event Espresso>General settings. Individual events can override this setting, so check this setting in the event editor too.

What’s not working when they want to go back to PayPal? If there isn’t an option to pay on the return page, this can be fixed. There is a setting in the Event Espresso>General settings that will display payment options if the payment did not complete. Look for “Show payment options for “Pending Payments” on the Payment Overview page?”

If PayPal payments are not getting marked as complete, please see this guide: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-event-espresso/#gateways
