managing questions

Hello,

I created several question groups, but all the questions (even the basic default ones) are not appearing in my group list. Why are some there and others not? also why are some question groups locked?

Hi there,

It turns out that the system level questions (like First and Last name) cannot be used in custom groups. The only groups that should be locked are the system groups. If other groups are locked, there may be an issue with some of the capabilities on your account. Are you using an administrator-level WordPress account? If so, it may help to go to the Event Espresso > Maintenance page and reset the Event Espresso Capabilities.

thanks! I had not understood how the groups relate to different events. Created new series of group questions and it works now.

Hello,

We are glad to here that you were able to get this working. Another tip is that the personal questions such as name and email along with the address questions are stored as part of an attendee/registrant record.

This means that you’ll see this information in the top right area of the registration details screen and custom registration questions will be shown in the middle-bottom area of the page.
