Managing Past Events – archive or trash?

Hi guys,
I have a long list of past events going back to 2016.
They show as expired and do not display in the current events 🙂
It’s worth keeping a record of them and the attendees for possible future reference.

As these are now obsolete, what is the best way to handle them as there? Should we just leave them in the system as “expired” or is there some way to “archive them” apart from putting in “trash” folder?

Hi JohnB,

Currently, we don’t have a method to archive past events other than leaving them as expired. We’ve seen some users basically create a duplicate of the site on a subdomain to keep past records, locking that down from public viewing and then remove the events from the ‘main’ site.
