After updating the plugin again, our security plugin and server security flagged the EE with malware detected

Hi there,

It’s exactly the same report as the previous one because we haven’t changed the template files yet.

Our usage of assert() in those functions isn’t an issue but I will raise this with our senior developer again to confirm.

Just to clarify, it hasn’t detected malware above, it has detected a function in use that it considers to be dangerous and it advises you to check it out.

Whilst I don’t think our usage of that function is a risk here, we’ll be removing it from the next version of Event Espresso just to be sure.
