Is there an easy way to have the event espresso widget “target=_blank” when an alternate URL is placed in the “Alternate Registration Page” field?

Thanks for the code. Do you think it would be possible to add an option button beside the Alternate Registration Page such as “Open url in another tab” for the next release? This would allow to direct the people outside your site depending on the event.

The above code should work for what you’re trying to accomplish. We’re not adding any new features to Event Espresso 3.2 as that would delay it further.

I just wanted to share my workaround regarding this point. What I did is create a post where I talk about the event and within this post I made a link to redirect the user to the site where the registration actually occurs by opening another tab. Therefore in the event espresso events page,I used the alternate registration functionailty to bring the user to this post.
