I am currently in November and my event is in december. I am trying to get the calendar to open in december as I have no events in November and it doesn’t look that great to have it this way. Is there a way I can pick the default month the calendar opens on?
If you are going to explain it in changing any php please by really detailed I am new to coding.

Hi Dilan,
This a feature we are working on to add for an upcoming version of the Event Espresso 4 calendar. I’ll update this thread when the new version is ready.

hey thank you for that but is there a way I can change it in the code for now as I have these events and I need to make them visible? I would really appreciate it.

Hi, the solution in the following support post will work for the current calendar:

However, your edits will be lost on a software update.
The file is located here:
/wp-content/plugins/ee4-events-calendar/scripts/espresso_calendar.js
It should look like this once that line has been added:
