Is there an option to make new type of tickets (or a new event) available only if previous tickets are sold out.

For example, I need to open a new event on Saturday, but only if the tickets for the Sunday event are sold out.

If there is’t an add-on or option that I can use, which would be the best way to approach the problem? I don’t mind writing a little bit of code if you put me in the right direction.

By the way I’m working with EE4.

Thanks.

Hi,

Not currently but I will certainly add that to our feature request list. Waitlists (which *might* be suitable) aren’t currently available in EE4, but it is something we are looking into.

While JavaScript wouldn’t be an perfect solution (it can be easily circumvented), it would be the easiest way. You could hide a ticket (Saturday) and if Sunday ticket states sold out, then show the other ticket.

Thanks Dean,

I’ll be looking forward to hear more from the new feature. In the meantime I’ll try that JS hack.

Thanks for your time, and congratulations for your quick response.
