MyMail is a fully integrated WP Newsletter plugin sold on CodeCanyon and is extremely popular! I have considered purchasing it because it integrates well with WP and uses WP to send newsletters. I’ve used REVAXARTS other themes before and loved them. It’s a newsletter plugin that bypasses the need for services like MailChimp and Constant Contact. It’s really cool and I like the idea for many reasons- cost is #1 and integration with the site is #2. I was curious though if anyone thought that this might integrate with Event Expresso? I know the MyMail plugin itself will integrate with MC. Anyone think there might be a way to integrate it? And what are the advantages/disadvantages with going with MyMail over MailChimp? I’m trying to make a decision and thought I might ask opinions of others first. May help me avoid making a mistake.

Hi Audrea,

I’ve never heard of MyMail until you mentioned it. It looks very nice. You seem to really do your research when it comes to plugins and themes. Way to go.

I didn’t see where it integrated with MailChimp. I wonder if you can use MailChimp to pull lists into MyMail. If you could do that, it might would work with our MailChimp add-on. The add-on basically sends email addresses to MailChimp lists that you have setup previously.

Hi Jonathan. I may have spoken too soon about MyMail integration with MailChimp… I know that his themes do, so I assumed…. Sorry about that. I am just curious if I could use the EE Registration process to feed emails to the MyMail plugin so that a user who signs up for a class through EE, automatically goes on our MyMail list. I’ll contact the MyMail plugin and ask him if there is a way… I will let you know what I find out! Never know where that might lead…

Great. I’m looking forward to seeing what you find out.

As far as our end, it would probably take custom development to integrate that.
