Mailchimp not adding registrations to list

Hi Guys,

EE3.1.36.5.P

Mailchimp is added from the list in the Event Overview, but it doesn’t appear to be adding to the list on Mailchimp. I see there’s been similar posts to this, but can’t see what the solution is.

Any ideas on what I need to look at?

Try creating a new API key and updating that in the settings page. Then go to an event and resave.

Also, the attendees/registrants will need to opt-in via an email sent from MailChimp.

Thanks Lorenzo,

I’ve done that, and re-tested, and it appears no emails are being sent from mailchimp to opt in, not in spam or junk folders. What’s the next thing to look at? Is it possible this it could be a server issue, if there’s too much security not allowing the triggers to work?

Hi Ben,

Do your Mailchimp lists require other custom fields other than Fname, Lname and email?

If you go to Mailchimp -> Lists -> *open your list* -> Settings -> List fields and *|MERGE|* tags.

You’ll find something like this – http://take.ms/35guK

Do you have any extra required fields? If so you’ll need to set them no to be required in order to work with EE3.

Next (again within MailChimp) go to your account. (Your name in the sidebar)

Then Extras -> API Keys. At the bottom of the page you’ll see a list of API calls, do you see any errors there?

It appears to be working now prior to your reply, but thanks anyway. I don’t think the client had given me full admin access. Resolved now though.
